Install InformIT Backup Service Client Software
Client software talks to our servers to protect YOUR data

A link to download the client software was included in the "sign up" confirmation e-mail that you received. To download the Client Software for InformIT Backup Service to your local computer, you must first sign up for the service on our "sign up" page.

Once you have signed up for the service, you will receive an e-mail with a link to download the client software to your machine.

INSTALL the InformIT Backup Service client software on your local computer by following the steps defined below. To see a "picture example" of that step, just click on the arrow next to each step.

  1. Open the installer file and you'll see the Install Wizard splash screen. Click NEXT....


  2. ACCEPT the license agreement and click NEXT....


  3. Enter your e-mail address as your InformIT Backup Service ID....


  4. Select TYPICAL installation...


  5. WAIT while client software is copied, extracted and installed....




  6. Click FINISH to start the service and open the web console....




Once you have installed the client software on your computer from the directions above, you can then proceed to log in to InformIT Backup Service client software.
