Getting Started with InformIT managed services
Initiating the move from "technology support" to "technology management"

Contact Us: Let us know that you are interested

"Technology Support" is about putting out a fire. You call the firemen when your house is burning, they show up, put out the fire, and (hopefully) you never see them again. "Technology Management" (which is what InformIT is all about) is about an ongoing relationship. So to start that process, we need to know that you are interested in moving to a more proactive, problem-prevention way of managing your technology investment. Interested? Contact us online or give us a call at (317) 596-3650.

Getting Started with InformIT managed services is easy. Just call or e-mail Desktop Resources. We will listen to your needs, then get started on a Health Check assessment of your environment. Following that, we will instrument your infrastructure with InformIT tools and begin managing your infrastructure at the InformIT level that you have selected.

Initial Discussion: We'll listen while you tell us about your current situation and needs

We want to make sure that InformIT will meet your needs, especially since this is the beginning of a support relationship (as opposed to the "firefighting transaction" of the past). We'll answer your question about InformIT in the session, but mostly we'll listen to your needs, talk to you about not only your technology environment but also your business requirements, then formulate a proposal that satisfies those needs.

Technology Assessment Health Check: Find out the details of your current situation

Our next step is to assess your environment to find out the good, the bad, and the ugly.If you have some looming problems, they may need to be addressed before you start your InformIT contract. (see How InformIT Works for more details).
