Event:
Windows 7 - Are you ready?
Thursday, October 29 Noon-2pm
Microsoft is releasing Windows 7, the latest version of the Windows operating system, this October. Most users did not choose to upgrade to Windows Vista, and support for Windows XP is ending. So expectations are high that most Windows users WILL upgrade to Windows 7 in the coming months. Will you? Are you ready? Will it run on your hardware? Will your applications work?
Join us at noon on Thursday, October 29th to see a demo of Windows 7 in action and to discuss how it may fit into your future (or why you might want to wait). We'll even buy you lunch that day, just for showing up!

Why Windows 7
is important for your business
Why should you pay attention to Windows 7 now? It's not going to affect you, is it? And if you (for some reason) need Windows 7, you'll just get it and bring it into the office. Right?
Here's some things to consider, and why you may want to join in the conversation at the October 29th event:
- Windows 7 requires more powerful hardware than Windows XP (which you're probably running now). Will it run on your current hardware?
- Support for Windows XP is ending, so buying the latest OS and "downgrading" to Windows XP may no longer be an option.
- Windows 7 takes advantage of the power of new hardware advances, but architectural changes may cause application and driver compatibility problems. Will your current applications run on Windows 7?
- The most important part of your technology investment is the data stored in your systems. What strategy will you use to integrate that data with Windows 7 without data loss?
- Windows 7 has some exciting new capabilities, both in user interface and in server-desktop capabilities. Will you be at a disadvantage if your competition exploits these new capabilities and you don't?
